With Tradition and Quality since 1920...

Olave, Solozabal SRC was founded in 1920 with the aim of producing high quality pistols. Partners Olave and Solozabal decided to manufacture office supplies of the highest quality, as pistol production was affected by the economic depression of 1929. It was during this period that they started to sell the famous M-5 staples, which they still have patents for.

With the participation of their new partners in 1938 and 1939, 5 families that are still partners today came together and decided to expand their product range.

Products such as pencil sharpener, paper weight, adhesive tape box and perforator started to be produced. It was agreed with a professional designer in 1979 and it was decided to produce plastic ones of these products. Although many awards were received with the plastic series, it was not continued as it was not as popular with the customers as the metal products. Thereupon, the classic metal products were returned and it was decided to develop them. New methods of polishing and finishing were used, and special black velvet gift boxes were made for each product.

El Casco continues to add new products to its range since 1993. Our aim is to offer you the best and widest selection of desktop office supplies. Despite all these changes and additions, the only thing that does not change is our philosophy: always the highest quality, reliability, elegance and success.

Production begins with the selection of the highest quality material. There is human labor at every stage of production, quality control is carried out at the end of each stage, and the products that are found to be deficient pass through the previous stage again. Today, each product is polished individually by hand. Every product made of copper, nickel, chrome and 23-karat gold is purified and cleaned in electrolyte baths. The water used in these baths is recycled with environmental sensitivity and used again and again. The assembly of products from the very last stage is also done manually and their functionality is checked. At this stage, our staff wears very special gloves and carefully places the products in their special boxes in order to prevent any damage to the product and fingerprints. Thus, our product is ready to satisfy our most discerning customers.

In addition to our metal products, files made of the highest quality leather and similar leather-covered products are also offered to our customers with the finest tastes. We can also prepare our classic products for you and your company in line with your wishes and satisfaction. We immortalize your logo with our silk printing and special engraving methods.
